I can't believe you only eat 1800 calories. Are you sure??? Either you are underestimating your calorie intake or you have a slow metabolism. Could you be hypothyroid? You are bound to have a load of muscle mass which should be burning fat like crazy. I'd think you would need closer to 4,000 calories a day just to maintain. If you are really only eating 1800, you may have slowed your metabolism. Eating clean with lots of protein (egg whites, whey protein shakes, chicken and turkey breasts, fatty fish, extra lean burgers, nonfat dairy, veggies, whole grains, beans, potatoes, and good fats) is what most athletes do to maintain health and weight. I do know that bodybuilders will go low-carb and low-sodium before a contest (the cutting phase). Do you have access to a doctor/nutritionist? I'm really concerned about your low calorie intake. Twenty pounds is doable in two months but you may balloon back up afterward.
