Yes but if i was a soccer player i would not be saying much. some of those players earned it, they truly have dedicated their life to soccer and some have come from a poor country.

I think ALL pro sports ppl are overpaid. Teachers in Alabama start around $12k a year, and they are in charge of YOUR CHILDREN 6+ hrs a day. Daycare workers are often min. wage, the ppl in charge of your $, SS #, bank info are low paid. GIVE ME A BREAK. It's a GAME. I'm sure they could survive on half that much...

Yeah! what is there contribution to society? I agree some have earned it through dedication but most of us are dedicated to our jobs that are more worthy of a huge salary, recently football has resulted in more and more hooliganism and a lot of the time it is the players punching each other on the pitch.

Extremely ...

Yes, immensely overpaid. I think their wages should be capped.

Yes I do. They word for it! They need to train 7 days a week, have to restrict what they eat and do, have to live with being publicaly ridiculed if they make just one single mistake and the football club they play for makes a crap load of money out of advertising and merchandising! Better to pay the star than the fat cat upstairs imo.
-
No I don't.I think some jobs are more tiring than this one.

The vast majority of professional sportsmen earn ordinary salaries. Only those at the very top have the inflated earnings that prompts your question and their careers are relatively short. Lots of people at the top of their professions earn very high salaries, but for much longer. So why not sportsmen, who entertain so many people?

im not sure, they shouldnt be paid as much as they are, but i tihnk they should be payed more than regular people, becuase you have to be talented, and not many people are as good at there jobs as footballers are.
