NEVER JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER BECAUSE THE COVER MAY NOT LOOK EXCITING BUT WHEN YOU OPEN THE BOOK AND START TO READ YOU ENTER ANOTHER WORLD. YOU SEE THAT IT IS ACTUALLY A FANTASTIC BOOK I SHOULD KNOW I LOVE TO READ AND I NEVER JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER ITS THE SAME WITH PEOPLE.

i agree with both statements - now im confused haha!!

Both statements contain some truth and some error. 1) 'first impression is the last impression' tell us that it is generally a good idea to follow our first impression. This is true because our first impression is generally based on intuition, and it is generally a good idea to follow our intuition. 2) 'never judge a book by its cover' tells us that just like a good book could get a bad cover and the other way round, in the cases where we have to take a decision, a definitive judgment should not be taken before we have a closer look. Just like the author of a book is not a cover designer, some interesting things can sometimes be hidden. 3) Example: finding a job. Today, most employers don't take the time for the formation of their new employees. So their first impression will decide. If an employer has some more time, they could try to find out some hidden qualities that could be developed through training.

Never judge a book by its cover. Always keep an open mind. You burn bridges otherwise.

First impressions are important, because some people will never give you another chance. I try to go with never judge a book, because every one has a bad day now and then.
