I believe that to witness such an event would be both tragic and beautiful. It would be intangibly sad to know that all life on this planet would soon cease to exist, but it would also be beautiful in its own way to see such a powerful force in action. Although there are many things that can move a person emotionally, I think that seeing such a complete and widespread destruction would be incomparable to anything else. It is not something I would want to happen, just to clarify. I'm just saying that given the opportunity, I would watch. I think it is human nature to be drawn to these kinds of things, even if we wish they wouldn't happen.

I think it depends how it ends. If it's very quick without tons of suffering, then I'd like to stick around 'till the last minute. If it's miserable with lots of pain and suffering, watching others die slowly & knowing there's nothing I can do to stop it, that would be horrible. I'd much rather already be dead by some less horrific means.

That would be impossible. If life on earth ended then that would include me, or else all life hadn't ended.
