This girl says she likes me, she used to laugh at my stupid jokes, make contact, etc, but lately shes been laughing at my friends stupid jokes and not at mine. She acts awkward or tired around me, but happy and animated with him. does she still like me?

I am sorry to say I think she has moved on. Don't bother to look for any logic in it. It's based on what she is feeling and there in nothing you can do about that. I am sure it will hurt for a bit, but there are plenty more out there. Take it as a positive. Be happy you didn't waste any more time on her. There is a better one out there for you. Again, don't look for any logic in it. It is not what you said or did. It's just how she feels and she can't control that any more than you can.

Just a quick addition, she says she likes me, but she acts a lot differently around other people and when my friends there. She roll her eyes at my attempts to be funny and i cant seem to make her laugh anymore. She will still engage in physical contact sometimes with me (hug, holding my hand when its just us) but lately shes been sitting by him in school whereas she used to always sit by me. I still like her a lot, and I really dont want to break up.

DONT FALL FOR HER. she is setting man traps to get attraction, shes just flirting around looking for a guy who will fall for her and it will seem oh so genuine when shes locked onto you but as uve said shes gone for someone else now. my best advice for you and i know its hard but just let her go, and forget about her.

What you need to do is be true to your self and be confident in who you are. This will attract the right kind of woman who will not be so shallow.
