They SAY that the taste of bitter almonds as a person bites into a cyanide tablet is like that. Others tastes are gasoline, soap, vomit, other chemicals. Don't know of any food like that. Not any GOOD food.

Raw onions; also, too much hot sauce! I love hot sauce, but it is especially weird if you eat something with hot sauce on it and then take a sip of coffee. The coffee doesn't taste like it should at all! So I try to watch that - i.e., I try not to combine the two, so if I want coffee with a meal, I go very light on the hot sauce. As for onions - there, too, the quantity has an effect - a nice pile of raw onion slices on your burger or in your salad may be great health-wise, but it can affect your taste buds for awhile.
