One of my cats crawls in under the cover and does the same thing and I HATE to move him when he gets soooo comfy. I know I would hate to be moved if I was that sleepy and got that comfy... You are being VERY nice to him and I don't see any problems with that.
-
yes yes and yes. We only allow them on top of the covers, but yes, one of the cats always wants to be on my knees, behind my knees or between my knees. Most nights I tolerate her because I like the snuggly warm feeling, but some nights I toss and turn and she is on her own to deal with it. I have found that if I am on one side and she goes in the crook of my kness, that I can flip over and put my knees on the other side of her with out her moving. If you love your kitty and enjoy that snuggly warm bed-sharing feeling, then No, you are not being too nice.
-
Well, we're getting our dog in 1 1/2 weeks and decided that she will sleep next to the bed and will not be allowed to sleep in the bed.
-
i have no choice in the matter, my dogs are too soft and if im in the house and they are in another room they just bark until i let them in. it can be annoying though
-
No cats in my bed. I barely have room for me with my bed-hog husband, add the 6 cats in there, I would never get any sleep. In the past I have had cats sleep with me, between my legs, as you describe. I always hated moving too, but usually my discomfort would win over theirs.
-
I had a cat who loved to sleep under the cover warming my feet (lucky me!). I have never been scratched, so I guess I never hurt it while turning over. You are aware of your pet when you are awake, and you don't want to disturb their sleep. But once you are asleep, you can't prevent turning over a few times. The pet leaves if it can't live with you moving, but I asume it's still snoring on your bed in the morning....

5.5 lb dog. sleeps under the covers, under my right arm. He thinks that's his place. When he gets hot, he goes next to my head [NO pillow!] and FALLS / PLOPS down hard! Then back in.
-
My cat sleeps in the bed and always has. When my fiancee was alive she'd lay onto of me with her butt in my face because she was mad that I took spot. Now that he's gone she lays on my chest with her face next to mine like she used to do to him. Ilet her do it because I know she's morning like the rest of us.
-
Yes, my cat sleeps on the bed. She will get down if she wakes up and/or if someone moves, and then she goes to her little bed that I bought her.
-
Yes, my kitties sleep in the bed with us. It's a good thing that we have a large bed too!! We have six cats and four of them have decided to make themselves comfy with us every night. One of them sleeps right in front of my face. Another sleeps immediatley by my feet. The other two sleep right behimd my husband's back and legs. And my husband sleeps curled up right behind me! Talk about not being able to move at night. Most of the time if we do move or go to the bathroom, one or two of the kitties follows us and then gets back into bed after we get in our spots. The other two usually just roll over and adjust to the move. Inevitably, after we all fall asleep we move during the night and the kitty eithr moves or gets up. Just because you don't see or realize it-you do this too! If you were to hurt your kitty or make it uncomfortable it would let you know somehow. If yourkitty is still sleeping with you-apparently he loves you enough to tolerate your invading of his space. Just enjoy his company, but don't always let him rule the roost!! Good luck sleeping....

Until recently, my wife and i shared a bed with 3 of our little dogs at night. Suffice to say we never had much room or pillow space.

Nope. But I've owned a dog who would sometimes sneak into bed to sleep with ME. Rolling over to find a black lab sharing your pillow can be interesting... And my wife and I own two cats now who's preferred night time sleeping spots is at the foot of our bed with us. But it's always been the animals sleeping with ME, not the other way around! :)
-
Yes... I had three Springer Spaniels who all slept on the bed with us. When they passed, my cat slept on the bed with us. Now the cat sleeps in the basement and the Dane pup has (literally) taken over the bed. When I am very tired and don't feel like fighting for covers and a tiny spot, I just go curl up on the couch by myself. No... he's not spoiled at all! Right???

-
If I didn't, I'd have to give up my bed. God knows the cats won't give it up.
-
They come and sleep with me, I've little choice in the matter. They come and go though, doing their cat things every now and then, but they're usually there pretty much the whole time, as I tend to sleep in the morning rather than the night, when they're active. Whenever my boyfriend's over, he always picks them up and puts them on the ground. ¬_¬ Still, they usually come back. :D
-
My dof sleeps n my room everynight
-
I have tried to sleep with my 2 lap dogs in the past but I can no longer do it. My dogs snore and when they are on the bed, they like to walk around at night bothering me when I am trying to sleep. Plus, they like to sleep on top of the blankets - not allowing me to move around under the covers comfortably.
-
No never :)
-
One of my cats always sleeps on my head, or my partners head. It's really cozy. The downside from this is that once a year he pukes. Which is really gross, waking up by a cat that pukes over your head.
