Is anyone else alarmed over the fact that Russia is rearming themselves and do you believe our defense has grown weaker the last 90 days and the World is realizing this?

Just because dickie cheney is going on every talk show and telling the world that the sky is falling does not mean our defense has grown weaker. Obama is a he** of a lot smarter than dickie c and all the neocons put together..our Prez also has a much better temperament, character and view of the world. He has surrounded himself with knowledgeable people. I am not worried. I was very worried for the last 8 years..no longer. Happy Tuesday! :)

90 days in an interminably small margin to gauge a defensive prowess decrease. It would take at least 6 months before anything would shift the balances. No one wins in a nuclear war-- the only reason that the Cold War never went past what it did (not sure how tense it got, we're working between WWI and WWII right now) is because of an "unofficial" truce. Leaders and influentials of both nations realized what happened. The fact that no one will give up their nuclear weapons is what keeps everyone at bay. It is much that same as from the Wheel of Time: "After several cities were both completely wiped out with baelfire, both sides stopped using it. There was no parley (parly?), truce, or agreement. The Pattern was unravelling, falling apart, and if they continued, there would be nothing to rule."
