  • Note: I am NOT an expert but a loving dog owner I would keep a close eye on her but also give her her space. You need to remember she is still a dog and, like other animals, they can be protective over her pups. so call a vet and ask them what to do when she does give birth and be calm. dogs can sense your emotions so you want to calm and gentle with her. she may growl at you but that is because she is in agony and is being protective. other than that i can not help. good luck and congratulations.
  • thank you for your info now she is56 days along her temp is 98.4 and she had some more discharge yesterday and will not come out of her bag unless to go after the other dogs for going near her... is this the real thing do you think?
