Not 50%, but probably 5% and certainly 0.5% (roughly current shuttle odds).

In a heartbeat! Hell, I'm 62, there's a 50% chance that I won't make it to 80. I' rather go out with a bang while on the ultimate adventure. To tell you the truth, I would go if I was 32.

( 2d try to post, if duplicate, sorry.) Hell, no. Your question doesn't say if the crew is in on the inside info -- if everyone agreed, I guess I'd do it. If they didn't know, no way would I do it.

We as American's go into space each & every election period. AND, yes, there is a 50% chance we will go further into debt on our way back, forwards, or any way we move because we keep voting in politicians instead of REPRESENTATIVES of & for the people. Not quite on subject here but thought there was similarities between the question & my thoughts at present. Yes I would go on into space with a crew as 50% chance of survival is better odds than down here in politico land!
