I think its becuase...If you stay a virgin you can focus on life...when you are younger, about excelling...and not about sex. Also its when you do find somebody you truely love (marriage - isnt a legal bounding, it was ACTUALLY 2 people giving themselves to each other...before God)...becuase they truely chose to...BUT...To not have any regrets about past sexual activities. When you find the one you want to be with for the rest of your life...you will have wished you have given it all to them. But if sexual activity happened before then, it can cause problems in the relationship (previous kids, disease, mind wonders)...if that makes sense....It was just a way to stay "pure" in body, soul, and mind...
