The answer to that is that they don't agree with the principles the USA was founded.It appear's to me that the conflict of conservatism and liberalism will continue. Republican's of late have gone away from they're core belief's unfortunately. I have faith they will recover.

I guess it's a matter of opinion and contentment, despite how absolute, even if temporary, governments are. There wouldn't be a need for liberalism VS conservatism if one of either was actually perfect and catered to the best interest of everyone, now or within the future. Although the fact that we all bitch about it proves that it isn't so bad, since we don't get arrested and tortured for submitting things like this online, or talking about it in public.

because this country was founded on some things that weren't so great. Enforced religion, racism, slavery, sexism, these are all things our country condoned when we first started, but now we don't. Just because a country starts out holding a certain practice or value, it doesnt mean that that practice or value is a good thing.

Hey Cowboy...One of the things that was required to make America what it is, or was.....God, Family and Country...All these required hard work and sacrifice responsibility, accountability and consequence. Now days people are only out for themselves, despite what it does to the above listed things.. "God"...He has rules that require a little self respect and restraint. "Family"..Gone...The family consisting of Mom and Dad striving to raise well rounded and responsible children has been replaced by divorce, Gay Marriage Single motherhood and Madonna.. "United we Stand" has been replaced by "Diversity" We are no longer a nation of producers and workers, we have become a nation full of people demanding Hand-outs and "Bail-outs" and entitlements.. Liberals are only intersted in what benefits, or excuses them, such as Abortion, workers rights,(screw the company that employs them) You can have a "Gay" student club at school, but you better not have a "Christian" club.. Liberals have taken to calling anyone who believes in strong morals and consequences "Haters" and "Closed minded" and "----phobes". All in an effort to shift blame from their own decisions and behaviors to those that wish to hold them accountable.. "Ask NOT what you can do for your country, but what your country can do for you"...so sad!!!!

Because, from the time they hit first grade, until they leave college,they are being indoctrinated by leftist leaning teachers and text books, to only see the things that are wrong about America. They don't see, that the things that are right about America, far out weigh the wrong. Maybe they should talk to some of the 1000s of people that risk their lives, to immigrate to America, about why America is great. Many of those immigrants are coming here daily to escape the socialism/communism, that is rampant in their countries. But at the rate our country is going now, soon they won't have any place to escape to, and neither will we.

I believe that Liberalism is a mental disorder.This opinion is very provable. After you get in a conversation with one you will notice they never answer a question directly or they will change the subject.

Because they don't know better, but not all liberals do this. I've always been more conservative than liberal, but I've had friends that were straight liberals.

Liberals believe in a communal one world government. Liberals view capitalism as the most serious roadblock to achieving their goals.
