good food and terrible service, i'm used to the bad service from a lot of the restaurants around here and they wonder why they don't get good tips
-
Definitely good food. I would feel like it was a waste of money if the food was bad and no amount of good service could make up for that.

Fact is if you had to take those choices I would imagine you're not really in a *fine establishment* at all. That said, I'd take lousy food and great service. Being served food is the essence of being served, believe me when I tell you how great the food is when you've been sitting in the woods all day with a sub zero chill down your neck, whatever hot crap they bring up in the little jeep trailer is going to be humdilishous. Even if it reeks. Since I could eat anything, service is more important overall. Now get down and serve up fifty pushups!

I would prefer good food with the bad service and the person with the bad service Is not going to get a good tip from me.
-
Good food. That's what I want when I go to a restaurant.
-
Good food, that's what I went there for. I can put up with the bad service but I want to enjoy a good tasty meal. Their tip will show my dissatisfaction with their service.
-
I would choose to go home!

Good food, good food I am ok waiting for, I don't care how good the service is if the food sucks I will pitch a fit, and will most likely never eat in that place again. I have had bad service in places I enjoy eating, I just show it in my tip. I do however doubt such a thing would ever happen in a fine restaurant, if it did I would likely complain to the manager and go elsewhere to eat that night.
