Yep. My dad taught me how to play poker and how to drive. I taught my son how to play poker and how to drive. My mom taught me how to read when I was very young I taught my son how to read when he was very young I call my son on his birthday at precisely 6:18 p.m. California time, wherever he is..he was born at 9:18 p.m. in West Concord, Massachusetts. That is a tradition I started. I also celebrate Mother's Day on my son's birthday. Don't know of anyone I can pass that tradition along to though.

About the only family tradition I can think of that our family had and honored was we always had a Lifesavers Candy Book displayed, somewhere in the Christmas decorations, at Christmas time. For two generations: as a child and a parent and now the books seem harder to find at Christmas time, so I imagine it will end soon.
