  • not at all. everyone has there belief's. i don't know why some people can't accept that others may believe in something esle and just leave it at that.
  • No. I've never even known you to bring it up very often , much less try to convert me. In fact, you're probably the *Least* pushy, annoying person I know when it comes to expressing your religion. That kind of security and confidence is something I find very admirable in a person. But some people are just very sensitive and rather insecure when it comes to their relgion , and will make accusations like that at the drop of a hat. Don't let it bother you , because I can tell you from experience that there is virtually no way around that kind of attitude.
  • No. If users have a complaint or make an accusation they should contact AB staff. But I think they don't have a case. I know it's controversial, but everyone has the right to freedom of thought, conscience and religion. This right includes freedom to change religion or belief. Did you notice the advertisements below your question? Maybe they try to convert AB users. I should not take the accusation seriously. Just keep informing people about Wicca as you always do. No problem.
  • No, never
  • Never. And we talk all the time. You've never even casually suggested that I gave it a go. In fact, it's barely mentioned at all from wha I remember... People are such f*ckwads sometimes
  • No you haven't. You'd be one of the least likely to push your beliefs onto another person from what I've seen of your post history.
  • Nope, who said such a thing? very rude of them
  • no you have never even mentioned it to me when we have chatted.
  • No, never ever. I was unaware you was one until a couple of weeks ago. I would not mind, however if you did. It would make a change from certain people telling me I'm doing the devil's work merely for disagreeing with their supercilious christian beliefs.
  • Nope. Not you, not any other Wiccan. Wiccans don't proselytize. In fact, in some Wiccan traditions, there's strong encouragment to not be public about being Wiccan AT ALL, much less go out and recruit. (I know you know all that, AR, just putting it here for the non-Wiccans who don't.)
  • No. I have seen answers in which you explained various aspects of Wicca and how that influences your thinking and choices, but nothing that even borders on proselytizing.
  • You have explained your beliefs. That's fair enough. We have taken differing positions, and you have remained reasonable. Personally, I am glad you have found a repository for your spirituality. I believe that is important, but, can live with others who disagree-if they can live with me!
  • Well, those pamphlets you keep sending ARE starting to get annoying. And why do you end every answer with "Go Wiccan or Go Home!"??? Such an accusation is silly. I think that someone maybe felt intimidated by your bold style and because you are VERY good at arguing your point. But you have no more tried to "convert" someone as Nevets has tried to convert us to Judaism or the many Christian baggers (many of whom seem to answer EVERY answer with a Christian point of view) have tried to overtly convert someone. My guess it is someone who is uncomfortable with your beliefs and lifestyle and has chosen to react out of fear instead of just observing and respecting your perspective as one of the many wonderfully unique perspectives offered on this site. (But just in case, I have my crucifix and holy water at the ready! Don't try any of that witchcraft on ME!!!) ;o)
  • No you have not. Nothing more needs to be added
  • No, I don't think you'd do that. A spend everyday among people who try to force religion on me, so I can tell if and when someone is doing it. I can't remember ever hearing it from you.
  • Absolutely not. Whoever accused someone was categorically wrong!!
  • No you haven,t. Ever.
  • No, I am certain you have not. Accusations, huh? Good grief (rolls eyes). I think you have made it quite clear that conversions are just not your style.
  • No you haven't. I only find aggressive proselytizing within large religions: http://www.answerbag.com/q_view/136654
  • You've only explained to me your beliefs and philosophy on life. Some people would call that trying to convert someone so I think it depends on what you mean by trying to convert someone. Either way you havn't aggressivly tried to convert anyone that I've seen. You've always been rather respectful.
  • I am a hindu and saw many of your answers under wicca. But i 100% you didn't try to convert anybody. The person who accused you might be mad...
  • Don't know, since I'm quite new here, but that's cool, I have many Wiccan friends!
  • Not me, and not anyone else as far as I can tell. I've read through some of you answers and stuff, and I can't see that you've ever tried to do that on here.
  • No, but i wish you had
  • No, but I wouldn't mind if you did ; ) I've been trying to find a teacher through Witchvox.com but nill results. I've e-mailed them but haven't heard anything back. I've been practically living at the new age store in my area- just reading. (No, I'm not practicing any spells, no I do not intend to learn about it to get back at anyone, and I'm not in it for the power) I'm genuinely curious and would really like some honest guidance from someone who knows. mhm...
