So far the best I've come up with is somewhere else. At present we reside in the midwest - don't much like the climate or how the state taxes the retired. My wife does not like change and is pretty much convinced she can't live anywhere else, I on the other hand am willing to try just about anywhere. There are several web sites where one can search using whatever critera you wisn to search. We have a cabin in the Ozarks where I could be comfortable but I'm always looking.

I don't have any particular place in mind... Where there isn't a whole lot of snow and the winter is fairly mild. I'm thinking anywhere from Virginia, south into the Carolinas and west out to Colorado. I like having the mountains near and I love lakes and bodies of water.
