I don't know why people are giving you negative points for this question. It's valid to ask. Near were I live there is a preacher who I believe started the whole Y2K scare at the turn of the century. His name is Garland Faw. A very good man and elequent preacher who got himself worked up on the issue and began to believe he had a revelation from God on this issue. He rightly divides the word and preaches the uncompromised truth, but unfortunately he began adding the potential computer problem to almost every sermon and got lots of people worked up about it. I watched this grow from just him to a nationwide panic over time. Because the Bible says if a preacher makes a prophesy ( and that is what he was calling it ) and it fails to come to pass then you should never again listen to that preacher ; his viewership has dwindled considerably. This is unfortunate in his case for as I pointed out he really does preach the truth when he sticks to the Bible. I personally think God used him to make people aware of the problem so there would in the end be a worldwide movement to fix the issue so there WOULDN'T be an issue at the century change where he prophsied catastrophy.

The Pharisees and Sadducees were two competing groups of Jewish Fundamentalists. Both groups based their beliefs and practices on a strict and literal interpretation of the Hebrew Scriptures and like different groups of Christian fundamentalists today, they disagreed on the interpretation of the Scriptures. Both groups did agree on the strict observance of: + The Sabbath rest + Purity rituals + Tithing + Food restrictions Jesus who did not take the Scriptures so literally disagreed with both groups. With love in Christ.

That would be the reason why televangelists are making more money than Wall Street execs - and all tax free too - because the Christians are so smart and tell a false profet the second they see one crying a river and asking for money on TV Ha ha! If ever there was anybody that deserved what they got, here it is!

So, this would be the reason why televangelists are making more money than Wall Street execs, I suppose... Christians are very smart, indeed, being able to recognize a false profet on TV crying a river and asking for loads of money Ha ha! If ever there was a punishment that fit the crime of stupidity, this would be it!
