I wish I had when I was 18 to gain some experience and serve my country. Now I am too old.

If the United States was invaded, or extraterrestrial aliens attempted to wipe out humanity.

Out of patriotic reasons and out of my interest in the military; not for the $$$$$ at all. I'm joining the UNITED STATES MARINE CORPS after college. It seems like a job for me. It's hard to put it in words. When I look around me, it's like I feel that if people like me won't pick up that M-16 and go to battle, then America wouldn't be America, or Western society wouldn't be Western society (generally speaking since we work together with a number of nations i.e. Poland, The United Kingdom, Australia, etc.)
