some jerk downrated you... Use creativity ;), that's the key, and draw out what you want before you build it. Making it up as you go along doesn't work... trust me. EDIT:use rulers to draw stuff, I suck at art and that's what I do :P. Also... try different types of transitions... like using a lever then a chemical reaction into an electrical charge that makes something push another ;). scissors cut string, and candles burn rope... use some of that stuff :).

LOL. Thats a tough one. Just think about how each object will correspond to the contraption, and like needhelpbadly said: use creativity. Make a sketch, modify it, and bring it to life.
