I leave the radio on for my dogs - so they have someone talking to them. Not sure at all on the pee thing though

My Mother in Law left the radio on for her dog.

If she believes it, then it must be true.

Yeah, and they get up on their hind legs and dance too:)

We used to leave the radio on for our dog; to keep him company. We found out that he was calling Dr Laura and complaining about his treatment.

I leave a radio on in hopes of keeping burglars away. I pick a station that burglars don't like. When I get home, the house is full of cats doing the Stray Cat boogie. The radio has been changed to music that only cats like, and the whole house reeks of catnip. My cat swears she doesn't know anything about it. She doesn't know who those other cats are, who changed the radio station, or anything about the catnip roaches in the ashtrays. I have doubts. Should I be suspicious?

The voice/noise from the radio decreases the animal's anxiety level. The anxiety is brought on because of the master's absence.

I've never known it to make one difference or not. It's just noise to them. If it's on long enough, they adapt to it anyway.
