If there is a name anywhere on the bayonet, Google it, and you will get some leads. I did that with one my Dad brought back from the Philippines. This was several years ago, so I don't remember all the specifics of how I found the value, but just start with whatever clue you can find on the bayonet and follow your leads. You might also just Google WWII bayonets images and try to match it up with some pictures. I did not have a lot of luck with eBay, but I did find a dealer of WWII memorabilia through Google. Unfortunately, the one I had was pretty common and worth only about $65. There were a lot like it - German made and left over from WWI, sent through Argentina, I believe, have some of the identifying info removed, then sent on to soldiers in the Philippines.
