  • I wouldn't miss it for the world! And I do literally mean, "For the world". There is a trememdous amount at stake for not only the US but for the entire world that a new president will either help or hinder.
  • I will vote. I always do. I can not imagine NOT voting!!!! It is an amazing right and it is so frustrating how many people don't vote, but manage to find time to complain about everything around them.
  • me? no. why? b/c i am would be underage for the next one? definitely
  • I might skip a few years of voting just so I stop getting those month long phone calls asking me to vote for someone.
  • I would vote, but my 18th birthday is on the 22nd. Only twenty days off!
  • Of course I will vote in the next election. Firstly, the margin between the candidates is very thin. Secondly, it earns me my right to bitch about politicians.
  • I will vote, however I see no point in it really anymore. I live in Arizona which has only 2 electorial votes and we are always the last ones to be counted so we don't really seem to make a difference. I also found out that even if a whole state votes one way but the electorial collegiate decides not to vote with the state it's thier choice! Grrr!
  • Of course I will. Civic duty at its peak. I don't agree with people who DON'T exercise their right to vote; it is a blessing. Not enough people do see the worth in voting. They think their votes are meaningless, but they're not. Just as a single penny can always tip the scales, a few extra votes never hurt any candidate.
  • No, I will not vote,Why?Because a felon does not have the right to vote for 10 yrs.
  • Yes, I'll always vote so I feel like I'm making a choice...however small it is among 300 million people....toward whom I think will do the better (didn't say best) job of representing me. You have to consider that a person is really voting their own interests and beliefs when going to the polls. If a person sits back and does nothing...do they really have a voice?
  • I always vote , if you are not in the draw you cannot complain about the prize. Lets face it most of the prizes in an election are boobys anyway
  • No. I'm not quite old enough yet. But I would if I could. Because I consider it my civic duty to make a good choice. We saw the consequences of low voter turnout in the last election, we ended up with four more years of Bush. It's almost gotten to the point now where the average man isn't voting anymore, the only people who seem to be turning up at the polls are people who are very passionate one way or another, we need to get some people voting who don't have a predisposed loyalty to one party or another, and can make an informed, unbiased decision. Because what we have now just isn't working the way it's supposed to. And I geuss I do hold fairly large slice of the pie, so to speak, what with the unfourtunate fact that I live in Texas, one of the largest states in the country. (Not something I'm proud of, but true all the same)
  • Yes, because it's a privelage and even if you aren't voting, you're technically still voting for the guy who wins because you have the power to help him not win by voting for someone else. And I'll be 18 and I'll be able to vote for the first time of my life so I'm looking forward to it
  • Yes, because it's not just a right, it's a responsibility
  • Yes, because I feel that it's my duty as an American citizen.
  • Yes, Its one of the rights I get I might as well take advantage of it.
  • nope because iam only 13
  • Yes I did vote and I will always vote as long as I am able. I believe that people who complain about the government or how things are done should only have the right to complain if they voted. I like to be able to complain so at least I will be able to say that I tried to change things.
  • Darn tooten!! I hate the people that go to the polls and sit there at the machine and read through the book.. do that at home people!!.. have your ballet book filled out when you go.. don't make random picks from what you read at the spur of the moment, you are taking away the time that people have to take off work to go vote so they can stand in line waiting for you. If you can't figure out how to use the polling machine, I'm not sure I want you to help decide the future of our nation.
  • Yes I will vote. I just like to know that I tried to help contribute to the nations well-being.
  • Yes I will vote. Too many people have died to protect my freedom to cast my vote. That is how our government was set up: For our officials to be elected by the people rather than have a dictatorship or a monarchy or other form of government. In not casting my vote I lose out on one of the greatest priveleges we Americans have. That and it is like saying the sacrifice of so many just doesn't matter.
  • I always vote. If you don't vote, you haven't earned the right to complain... and I love to complain! So I can't skip out on the voting!
  • Nope. It's pointless. The elections are rigged. It's been rigged for decades and the new machines make it even easier than it was before. If you don't believe me watch the videos... There is a lot of info on the web with proof about how the elections have been rigged.
  • That would be my first voting experience. I would do it so that I could have a good reason to not do it ever again.
  • You can't complain if you don't vote. Peoplpe who don't vote should should keep quiet about everything. If you could not speak up when it counted, then nothing else counts.
  • Yes I definately will. (And it will be my first vote in any election, since I'll be turning 18 next month.) I understand people's belief that the popular vote does not affect the electoral vote at all, but who are you to complain about the president if you didn't even bother to get off your butt to vote for the other candidate?? Maybe this year will be different and the electoral voters will base their vote on the popular vote for their state. Maybe they won't. Either way, I'm going to vote and exercise my ability to make a difference.
  • I've voted in every election since I was 18, (Including local elections and midterm elections) I also usually vote in the primaries.
  • Yes. I love voting in both national and local elections. It gives me a little high. I love elections and politics.
  • no, not this time..i have been on hiatus since i voted for bush -(not senior) it was a grave mistake on my part. i may extend my hiatus
  • Of course I'll vote. But, I suspect I'll be doing in with my right hand as my left will most likely be holding my nose closed!
  • Yes, or at least I hope so. I turn 18 in the October before ^__^.
  • Yes, I do vote for obvious reasons, like the ones already stated.
