At the last minute, Dodd takes out the restriction on ex. pay and AIG exec's get their bonuses. Now the Gov. wants to impose a 90% income tax on these bonuses..90%.......90 Freakin %....Question is this. .Are You Surprised?

No. With the tremendous outrage over the whole sordid affair, no politician should ever miss the opportunity to make bombastic meaningless comments in order to ride the wave.

No - but it will never hold up in a court of Law - this is just to appease the peeps and as soon as we forget it - it will be fought down and those people will get their money at the regular tax rate. What I have heard though is at least two of Obama's people knew this was coming down the turnpike and told at least the people, if not Obama - his acting surprised is to make us feel as if he knew nothing. Wonder what will happen with that?
