What would be a good response to an older woman who tells me: "You're a baby! But you're soooooo cute!". Does that mean it's not going to happen or that there is a chance? I'm 23....she is 30, is that really a big difference?

She may think you're really cute but for some reason feels the age difference is too much for her. I personally don't think that is a big age difference, unless there is a big difference in maturity levels.

It means that you are a baby in her eye's and no she would not date you. The age is not a huge gap, but she wants baby's and you are still just one !

I would never speak to a prospective date that way. It sounds too condescending. He was 24 and I was 32 when we first met, and I treated him as the man he is from day one. We have now been married for 34 years and still going strong.

I don't think that is a big age diference at all. I think it is when one is 21 and the other 17. i would say go for it if you are interested.

I don't think I'd be interested in someone if they talked to me that way. That's patronizing. I was interested in a guy who told me the same thing, and he was quite full of himself. There's nothing wrong with wanting an older woman, but pick one who doesn't have a superiority complex.

in today's world, its really not a big difference. but do you have a shot?? hmm.....i dont know.....by saying youre a baby, thats a big hint that in her eyes, you are too young. so i would say that shes probably not into you in "that way"

No, it does not mean anything actually. She just made you a compliment. To say "you are a baby" is a little too "pathetic". LOL It's not really a big difference in age. She is pretty young herself.

IMHO, 7 years age difference is not a big deal, but her condescending attitude about it is. Her attitude would be a turn-off to me. But as far as the age difference goes, I think men should look for ladies 5 to 10 years older than them because women outlive men by about that amount of years.

My come back to that same response was "Age has nothing to do with experience" Then you can pitch that if you don't give it a try your just gonna be ignorant of what your missing from the young bucks.

She's teasing you and wants you. You have a chance. And no, seven years is not that big of an age difference in my opinion.
