How can I completely erase a Seagate Freeagent External hard drive? The user manual says the only way to erase is if you forget what your password is for the encrypted files,but none of my files are encrypted.WTH?

    Plug it on to your computer and, right-click on your drive and select Format.
    If it doesn't allow doing that, then make sure, that there are no programs installed by that external HD.
