  • I'm pretty sure it is just a standard full stop, or period. I don't think it's association with the question or exclamation mark changes it's name at all.
  • it is a period, the same as the dot of a question mark. It symbolizes the end of a sentance, and the above refference symbolizes the context in which the sentance is to be percieved, but the period remains constant, as does the end of the sentance.
