My mother has and after two years, her vision is starting to go back to the way it was...bad. Getting eye surgery is quite a gamble. It either goes one way or the other.

I have had CustomVue Lasik 9 months ago. It was one of the best things I've ever done. I now have 20/15 vision.

I had Lasix done over Christmas holiday 2005 and am glad I did. I now have 20/20 vision. It took less than a minute to do the actual surgery and it was wonderful being able to see the clock in the morning when I woke up. The only draw back is that I have a hard time seeing print that is small. If the lighting in the room is good I don't have a problem, but if the lighting is poor, then I have to use reading glasses. Dr. stated that older we get we lose the elasticity in our eye just like our skin so our close up vision will be more affected as we grow older. I will be 50 this year. I have 3 friends who have had the surgery done and they are just as happy with it as well.
