Well, I think that when you're cheating on someone else, it is easier to justify, but if your partner is cheating on you, as you have no access to their thoughts and motivations it is harder to rationalize, and also you would be feeling much more hurt than if you were the one cheating. I think that for a lot of people, of both genders, cheating is felt to be justified, but only in one direction. The double standard is somewhat unfair and stupid, but I suppose it's rather human.

If they both wanna cheat why don't they become swingers?! . To answer your question tho...I don't think wives want their husbands to cheat. I know my wife would kill me!!

That same old "When I do it, I have a reason! When you do it, you don't!" It's hypocrisy, really.
