My suggestion would be to write to authors with an explanation of what she would like to do, and a concise summary of the salient points of her life, asking for expressions of interest in writing her story. It will help if she has mixed with famous people, or done or experienced something out-of-the-ordinary. Obviously, she should choose authors she admires and those who write stories similar to her own.

Most writers will probably turn her down, but you never know; Bryce Courtney wrote 'Jessica' after coming across a woman whose story he found intriguing.
