Where it has to be below freezing because there has to be ice/snow.

where i live in canada, the only time that school's close is if the temperature goes to -30 that's with the windchill. although recently, the school's have remained open, but they kept the students inside.(kindergarten to grade 8)don't know about the high school or the colledge.

In East Tenneesse it has to be 20 or below for school to be on a 2-hour delay. I think if it is bellow -20 it is closed

It depends on where you live there are different conditions for different places i live in salem OR and any snow and people freak out but I lived in colorado springs and they would go when there was a foot in a half of snow so its all about where ya are

Most of the schools in Wisconsin were closed today, and will probably be closed tomorrow. The temperature has been BELOW ZERO all day, tonight supposed to be 20 BELOW, high tomorrow might be 5 below. Wind chills in the -20 to -40 range. Way too cold..........
