You should ask that employer for a W2. If they're still in business, they're obliged to provide your W2 by Jan 31 each year. Most companies are very cooperative about providing duplicates. If the company is no longer operating, I believe it is possible to get a copy from the IRS, but I wouldn't be surprised if it takes a long time.

Did you move since working for that employer? They really should have sent you one. Even the jerks I worked for two weeks for sent me one on time. Call that former employer up and ask them where they sent the W2.

Hey there. These folks are just trying to help you out. There's no need to get the attitude. If you want something done, get off your ass and do it instead of whining about the problem. The best way to find out if you can get a copy through the IRS is to, gee...I don't know, maybe call the freakin' IRS? (Retard)

Yes, if for some reason you don't get your W2 from your employer, and you've called, tried, etc., there is form you file with your tax return, Form 4825. And, used to be any library had all the tax forms out there free for you to take. Also try post offices, other govt. buildings, etc. Or download and print them from online. Any tax guys will have them all too. Hope this helps. And, Anthony? Your 'answer' was just as bad as you percieved the comment to be. Same attitude, name calling. Can you say "hypocrite"? Don't judge others, if you are going to act the same way.

Do your have your last pay stub from the company? All the info should be there. Good luck.
