  • Coyotes are smallish and VERY scroungy looking. They are pretty bold now and I see them within city limits of several towns almost daily.
  • Coyote's are half the size of a wolf and are usually tan brown in color. Wolves normally travel in larger packs then Coyote's. I ran across a Coyote while fishing over the weekend. I tried to shoot it but he was too fast to get away.
  • Coyotes are normally very small and skinny and looks much like a cross between a wild dog and a fox. they have a pointy nose and walk as if they are always in a hurry. a wolf is more stealth in movement and a healthy wolf well be large and fit. their paws alone are nearly 4 to 6 times the size of a coyote. and they walk slowly in comparison. Your chances of seeing a coyote are a lot more common that a wolf as the wolf likes to stalk.
  • Coyotes are small, wolves are scary lookin.
  • Only because I KNOW what a Wolf looks like so anything different would have to be a Coyote.
