Do you really think you can tell alot about a person by their shoes?

I think so, yes. If I saw a woman wearing the "it shoes", I would probably think she was into fashion and maybe a little vain. If I saw someone wearing running shoes, I would probably think they were fairly active, or were getting into being active. If I saw someone wearing flip flops, I would probably thing that person cares alot about being comfortable, for a few examples.

Yes you can. Actually a woman's personality is often revealed through her collection of shoes: is she traditional? is she curios? does she want a lot? does she crave for diversity? ... be a good observor, and you'll be surprised how much the shoes speak for their owners.

If you can't judge a book by its cover, how can you judge a person by their shoes? Besides, where I live people mostly wear boots and for good reason. So .. can you judge a person by their boots?

Not really, besides how much comfort they're in.

Depends if they are a fashion concious or functional dress person. That would be normally self explanatory straight away. You may be able to tell if theyhike a lot, or work where safety shoes are needed, or work in an office, or whether they are a vegan/vegetarian (non-leather shoes).

Yes , I personally think you can. Certainly on formal occasions. At interviews I always notice a candidates shoes

clown shoes at a wedding are a no-no, and sandals at a funeral are too. but it is comfort, comfort baby.

Sure. You can tell whether or not they are all about looks, or comfort. Personally, I'm all for the comfort, but dressing nice is cool sometimes too. I guess if they are tenis shoes, you can tell how active they are. Mine say a lot, and have seen more than most shoes. LOL

My grandmother used to say this, and I think it referred to the condition rather than the type of shoes. If they were clean and well polished, the person cared about their appearance down to fine details, but if they were scuffed and dirty, a less farourable impression was given.

In one tv show on E they said that the first thing a woman notices in a man is his shoes. How true is that? I don't know!
