    yes it is possible... not everyone ovulates at the same time in our cycle... some ovulate really early during the cycle.. some in the middle.. some later and some while menstruation....so if you are not looking in getting pregnant use safe sex and use a condom.

    Actually, yes, it would be possible for a woman to get pregnant while menstruating if that's also when she was ovulating. Although this is a very rare occurance, some women's cycles are irregular or out of phase enough that it could happen.

    However, it's an extremely unlikely situation. If you want to be sure, you'll need to determine when you're ovulating. To do this, you can either use commercial ovulation tests that are available in most larger drug stores or pharmacies, or you can learn about natural family planning methods, which teach you how to track your ovulation cycles using other methods. (There are several quastions and answers on answerbag that discuss these methods and how to learn them.)
