  • You have to ask? So how about your sister, is she alright? I know this crap goes on but I don't understand someone knowing and not doing something about it, the Boyfriend needs to be charged and your mother needs help as well and sis need a councilor. This is a definite case of child abuse and endangerment.
  • The "mother" is no mother. She has put her child in jeopardy. You know what is right. Report her, immediately and if your SO has a problem that, dump him because he is no brother either. Good luck to you. That little girl needs your help. Don't turn your back on her.
  • There is a time to hold the Truth and to speak the Truth. Circumstances will generally dictate when to speak. Whenever you witness or become knowledgeable about a crime, especially when it invovles a minor child you have both a moral and legal duty to speak the truth. I would encourage to speak not to social services but to the Police. They will be more objective and professional (theoritically) in their investigations of the "alleged" crime. Child Protective Services is more like your SS storm troopers, depending on the state and county you live in. Lastly, know this: IF you fail to do what you know is right, you become guilty of the crime by association. Good luck.
  • If you don't report her you should be charged also if that poor girl can find someone who is willing to help her. Hell, what are you doing with an s/o that would allow his own sister to be harmed this way? He should be locked up too. He certaintly is no man.
