that is a good question. maybe they rate it down because they don't have the ability to suffiently answer the question, therfore, in thier minds making it a hard question to answer??
-
I know what you are talking about. I just saw one of yours rated down -3 and it hadnt even been answered yet. Some people find certain subjects offensive and will rate them down just for that simple fact. Sorry. Ill give you +5 and Ill go back and find the other question and do the same.

This question is much like others that have been answered in recent days. People rate questions down for various reasons, they don't like you, they think the question is not a good one, they don't like the subject of the question, the question is exactly like one asked earlier, the question doesn't make sense.....the list could go on and on. The reason people don't comment about why is, if I commented and said something like "This question is nonsense, I can't read it, I am downrating it", then I can expect for you to go through my profile and downrate everything I have ever answered or asked, in retaliation.
-
Thats an imp point. May be we we should make it mandatory for someone who is giving a -ve rating. He can remain anonymous to avoid retaliatory rating, but comments must be mandatory

I totally agree with the question asked here. Ive asked important questions and Ive been rated down too. They are not mind numbing unimportant things. Why do people do this?
