  • No but we used to go out in groups so it would have been difficult to get stood up by everyone
  • Thankfully, No. But I have had the pleasure of the "I'll call you" and then the person "falls off the face of the earth".
  • yes i have
  • Yes I have. - more then once now that I think about it. I never let it get me down. Even took out the gals who have stood me up later. Last time - I still ended up at a street concert and spent the evening dancing and drinking with a gal I picked up in spite - taught her the salsa. It was a good time.
  • Nope, thankfully not.
  • no, but a friend of mine and i sat a guy up.. and he started stalking us, so we freaked out...then a couple of months later, he shows up at our prom, with a girl in my class, and he sat at my table. i was freaking out because i thought he was gunna kill me.
  • thankfully no. and i hope i never do. But there has been times they say meet me there and about 1 min before they're supposed to be there they go oh, something came up.
  • I got stood up on Homecoming my freshman year by one of my best guy friends. : (
  • There was this guy I stood up many times, because I knew what would follow after the date.
  • No, luckily. I've had friends do that but never a date.
  • No....but a friend of mines did her so called good boyfriend was suppost to take her out to red lobster when the jerk says (OH I CAN"T MY CAR BROKE DOWN) yea right.... sure it did lame excuse.... but i think people who set other peolpe up like that are stupid cause there the ones who are going to miss out on a good night they could of had and a good person :)
  • Yes. The next day I sent a cactus to the guy where he worked with a note saying "Notice the pricks? Which one are you?" The florist died laughing when I ordered this. It was one of my most brilliant moments.
  • This doesn't seem to be about being stood up. This is about an immature young man who's not ready to be in a relationship of any kind. If you're willing to put up with the kind of treatment and disprespect you've been getting, then it's your choice to continue. Personally, I think you'd probably be better off moving on and waiting for someone who will treat you the way you deserve to be treated.
  • ha yes....twice by the same guy (should have dumped him the first time ha) <br> And once by another guy who apologized and said he would call me in a few days but didnt...ha losers
  • In my case, the question should be "Have you ever NOT been stood up on a date?"
  • I have never been out on a proper date... OMG I'd never really thought about that before, I hadn't realised... Well thats depressing...
  • oh yeah...believe me its one of the sickest feeling. this guy(this asshole!)on whom i had a crush(n i think he too had a crush on me)not sure though coz guys can pretend...called me few days back(apparently v were not in talking terms as i realised he had a gf n wanted 2 flirt around with me 2).i avoided him for months 2gethr. n when i came 2 kno he was leaving 4 his hometown never 2 come back i took his call.he begged me 2 meet him 4 one last time n all said he will cook dinner 4 me n call me blah blah...n guess wat he stood up on me... he never called me.i mean wat kind of an asshole does that!
  • yes! it sucks! it made me feel unimportant especially b/c i never got an explanation or apology from the guy... plus i liked him and still do. :(
  • Back-in-the-day a few times =C
  • yes i have - it hurts but i got over it - its just dating
  • No, just laid down:)
  • Yup and vice versa....
  • just once ... and that was bc she thought we were going out on a friday night and not a thursday ... so it was more like a postponement than a cancellation
  • Not really but I have had some last second cancellations. Those tick me off too.
  • Yes, on my first date after a twenty-five year marriage. It was pretty discouraging. There I was sitting in the restaurant cooling my heals feeling quite embarrassed and vowing to never ever be so rude to anyone as he was to me. When he was an hour late I called him to see if he was okay (accidents happen) and got no answer. Two month later he called and said he was still interested in taking me out. I politely declined.
  • Does the pope crap in the woods? Does the bear use tp? I'm afraid most of us have. For you, I hope they had a good reason. Everybody deserves one do-over, give'em a second chance! :)
  • Multiple times.
  • A couple of times.
