Ppl are fucked. Dont go through life thinking that u can "fix" ppl. Trust me I have made that mistake and have been walked all over. Just except the fact that some people don't want to change.

Im finding at this age... after trying my entire life to understand it, give it, have it and keep it... That Love... Doesn't exist. It is a Hallmark card fantasy designed in error by those who have no idea what it is or who it should be offered to or taken from. How's that for depressing?

The first thing I would do is examine my own behavior and check whether there is anything I have done to drive that person to behave that way. If not and I realize she is concerned only for what she gets out of the relationship, I would withdraw from her. If you've been somewhat close to someone for at least a year, you pretty much know that person and any hope of that person changing is wishful thinking. If you just can't stop hoping, set a certain time limit, 3 or 6 months, a year. It's up to you. After the set time, if there's no change, drive on.

I have a similar situation, my friend is very rude and guys cant stand being around her and my other female firends as well as people i have just met say negative things about her....which is funny because she only has negative things to say about everyone hence why they dont like her. i have told her this and told her i will help her through it so people can see the nice person i know her to be. but she started doing the bad things to me not once not twice not even three times..each time i forgive and forget...but she isnt changing....recently i realised its always going to be me at the giving end and never the receiving end. so i dropped her as a friend....its really had cause i miss her but her bad ways hurt me more...so i get over it.
