Reverse psychology / curiosity. If someone says "Don't press the big shiny red button!!!" What is the first thing you want to do?
-
Heck yeah, LOL.
-
I never did.
-
No I did not.
-
Of course. I had a hypothesis that if the element wasn't red anymore, it couldn't be hot. As it turned out, the hypothesis was good: not because it turned out to be true, but because it was easily falsifiable.....
-
Yes. It was a lesson in mother knows best ( at least in some situations )
-
yes when it was on; needless to say i never touched it again
-
I think you like playing with fire!! lol
-
Sort of. One of my earliest memories is a family trip to the desert in a rented motorhome. We were wandering around among the rocks and cacti and, as you might expect of a 4-year-old, I got tired and wanted to sit down. My mother urgently warned me NOT to sit on one of the cacti. So what did I do? Sat on one of the cacti and got a butt-ful of spines. Ouch!
-
Only one time and then it was barely a touch.
-
Of course I did .... and she made me go to school anyway !! :)
-
Yes, my curiousity overrided the logic set by my mother and I continued to act upon the urge, an addict in my actions
-
I always went close to it and looked around, but I never touched it.
-
That seemed like the ONLY thing to do at the time.
-
Did it once and only once my entire life.
-
Yea, I think every little kid does it just to see for themselves!
-
No. I was a good little girl.
-
Haha. yeah, I'm a rebel.
