    I don't think that problem solving is gender based - it varies between individuals.

    I might have to say that IN MY OPINION....so please dont blast me on this one....that women like problem solving more, but men like to solve problems more. what i mean by that is that women like to analyze things and try to help out, but men like to just get it right so that they know they did it the right way and they won.
    This is obviously a generalization and doesnt apply to everyone.
