  • I doubt that you'd find the performance acceptable. Dialup is an order of magnitude slower than what a webcam needs to be really useful.
  • I have satellite and it isn't fast enough for a good conversation.
  • No. I had difficulty maintaining even low-guality audio-only stuff over dial-up and even the smallest video at a jumpy framerate of 1pic/sec would take a lot more bandwidth than you have.
  • You can sneeze, take a drink, flick your hair, or pick your nose without being seen 'cos of the lag lol ... not that I would know or anything .......
  • Look its all fine to get on webcam even when u r on dial up , Not big deal , my internet is slower that dial up . thing is u need to get on cam when internet traffic is not heavy . and remeber to give " ur chat client " "HIGH" priority through Task manager .
  • If you want to use a webcam and stream video and audio then you need broadband, dial up is useless.
