From what I've seen on Answerbag most of the population is politically witless and unable to do anything other than parrot their own party line and hurl insults at the opposition, so there wouldn't be enough politically sensible people to look after the politically witless.

Perhaps the people who don't have a clue politically are the happiest because if one isn't willing to join their assembly district and put some work into changing things, all we wind up doing is complaining to someone else and nothing gets done about the issue.

Who gets to decide who is Witless and who is merely Whimsical, Sardonic or Trying to Be Funny? Maybe if there is some sort of test first. :) Happy Monday! :)
