the eggs that we eat for breakfast, use for baking, etc..were never fertilized. A hen can lay an egg without needing a rooster. There was no little baby chick.

Uh..no. Eggs (if that is what you mean) are not aborted chicks. Most hens lay an egg every day and if it is never fertilized it never becomes a chick. It's just an egg.

It's not a chick by any stretch of the imagination. If it was an aborted chick, you would see all sorts of formation when you crack the shell.

Not today but maybe tomorrow i'll have a few. Yummy ;) I raise chickens and collect the eggs. We do not eat aborted chicks by any means. The eggs are unfertilized.
