Both morals and ethics can be successfully taught in the absence of religion. Millions of Atheists who are respectful and law-abiding bear that out with their children.

You can have good morals and values without having a spiritual faith or religion. I do believe in God and teach my kids about him. But more importantly I teach them that no matter what they end up doing in life or even if they change their beliefs later they should never forget to be good people and to live by the values and morals with which they were raised. -Do unto others as you want them to do to you. -don't kill -don't lie -don't steal -don't commit adultery just to name a few of the values we have tried to instill in them.

Technically, no. Morality is tied to culture and upbringing. Religion creates a sort of sub-culture within a given society, so yes, morality is tied to some extent to religion, but more on a cultural basis, not the good vs bad basis that many think of it as. Don't get me wrong. I am a devout Christian, and I do think that believing in God and knowing He wants me to be moral helps me be moral when I can't find any other good reason to be. But is tied to personal beliefs+religious sub-cultural upbringing. I know many christians and spiritual people whose morals make alley cats look upright and noble.

You do not need to have faith in God to be moral. Paul said of the non-Israelite nations, those that were never under the Law covenant: "For whenever people of the nations that do not have law do by nature the things of the law, these people, although not having law [that is, a law code from God], are a law to themselves." In what way? In that "they are the very ones who demonstrate the matter of the law to be written in their hearts, while their conscience is bearing witness with them and, between their own thoughts, they are being accused or even excused." (Rom. 2:12-16 Faith is necessary to please God though. He is the Father of all life who has made our children possible. WITHOUT FAITH IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO PLEASE HIM WELL, FOR HE THAT APPROACHES GOD MUST BELIEVE THAT HE IS AND THAT HE BECOMES THE REWARDER OF THOSE EARNESTLY SEEKING HIM."-HEBREWS 11:6. The psalmist fittingly sang: "The law of Jehovah is perfect, bringing back the soul. The reminder of Jehovah is trustworthy, making the inexperienced one wise. The orders from Jehovah are upright, causing the heart to rejoice; the commandment of Jehovah is clean, making the eyes shine. The fear of Jehovah is pure, standing forever. The judicial decisions of Jehovah are true; they have proved altogether righteous. They are more to be desired than gold, yes, than much refined gold."-Psalm 19:7-10; 119:72. We do well to teach our children the powerful truths of the Bible.

Morality existed long before there were organized religions. I raised my childen without a religion, although they were exposed to everything I could think of. They are the most moral individuals I know.

No I do not believe you must have faith or religion for people to have ethics and morals. This is taught by parents and if the parents are good honest people without having religion the children can be too. I am a Roman Catholic but do not have any argument with totally free thinkers

I do not think that a person has to be spiritual to be moral, but religions do set their own moral codes for what they think is the right thing for people to do.

No. There are other reasons for faith and spirituality which do indeed inform our moral values and every other dimension of life. But just to manipulate morality is not enough of a reason to have or promote faith.
