How can you transfer an image to a foil sheet for a special effect?

The usual way to do it without harming the original image is to first photocopy it, then place the transfer paper on the foil sheet and on top the photocopy. Then go over the image with a hard carbon pencil but be careful not to break the foil sheet. Another way of doing it is as said up to the photocopy, when you have it cover the back of the photocopy with a soft carbon don't leave blank spaces, then place it over the the foil sheet and go over the image with a semi hard carbon pencil.
