  • yes but there are problems with the idea. 1. parents changing their minds after drop off 2. funding 3. funding for the care of the children they don't even have this kind of serves for pets. a neighbor who was moving gave my little sister (10 at the time) a puppy with huge feet (puppies with huge feet become huge dogs) just as they were leaving the last time, our apartment doesn't allow dogs and they were gone so i tried to turn the dog over to the animal shelter, they told my i would have to pay them $50.00 to take the dog. and people wonder why unwanted pets are abandonded on the street. p.s. i had to wander the area asking everyone if they wanted a puppy for hours before i finally found someone who wanted the little beast.
  • It is a wonderful and thoughtful idea!! Wish it could really happen! It would save a lot of children!
