• Isn't volatility a term denoting how easily a substance vaporizes? If that is correct, how could methamphetamine be correctly described as highly volatile? Now...If you'd said, "Meth labs explode when incompetent and chemically-uneducated fools ignore safety precautions while naively mucking around with dangerous chemicals." I'd agree with you wholeheartedly.

• Please let me ask you this (and it is a sincere question, as I know my knowledge of chemistry is lacking) If meth (the salt form, not the freebase) is indeed volatile aka explosive, then why doesn't it explode when lit with an open flame (in a pipe)? "Confused"

• Good question. To be more accurate, the process of making Meth involves dealing with volatile chemicals that are highly flammable such as anhydrous ammonia. One spark then boom!

• HAHAH hey guess what? They aren't making old school prope dope anymore the whole "one spark then boom" is all a bunch of shit. Burp the Anhydrous container every once in a while and if your scared of that then just sub it with Red Phosphorus. No explosions there......
