What do you think of bastard children (religiously speaking)?

A child is precious no matter how it comes to be. This question is a little disturbing to me. I am shocked at it. If there is a judgement to be made it would be the parents. And even then you w/out fault cast the first stone. I am saddened at this question. To me it's a non-issue. And I thought it was a non-issue for everyone. +4 anyway.
