No. Catholics believe that each human soul is individual and immortal, immediately created by God at the moment of conception. The soul is the spiritual part of a human. The soul is the essential nature of human consciousness and freedom. Soul and body together form one unique human being. The soul does not die with the body, from which it is separated by death, and with which it will be reunited in the final resurrection. Wouldnt the before life be called in-utero?

we will know when we get there if we get there. there are no givens. a lot of it depends on your own belief. you go to what you believe. there could very well be a before life.
