  • i think it's just a lawsuit waiting to happen. and, i think that it would make coworkers feel uncomfortable. that's why i wouldn't do it. i would hate for my employees to think that someone was given favors because of a relationship that i was in, and that their work was being disregarded because of the relationship. nothing worse than under-appreciated employees.
  • no , it might be ur destiny just make sure he's not playing you
  • It's only inappropriate for bosses to date their employees if the intention is to use, manipulate the other or create scandal. People work more now than ever outside of the home and spend more time with their co-workers and bosses than with their families(due to financial reasons of course). As a result, people become friends and are sometimes attracted and interested in someone on-the-job. It can be good or bad just like any other relationship. I think that if one remains true, honest and mature at all times, the situation could be proactive.
  • Myself, "I don't shit where I eat"...should you split up that's gonna be hellishly awkward, but fraternization can cost you your job, if a pissed off ex/co-worker doesn't. So yeah I personally think it's inappropriate and every company I have ever worked for had policies concerning it. Unless you don't give a shit about the job...then I guess have at it.
  • Ethically speaking, yes, it is.
  • yes it is. it's a bad look for outsiders i mean you can't help it who you like, but there is a place and a time for it.
  • Not only is it inappropriate, it's stupid to put yourself in a potentially compromising situation. Personally, I won't even become involved with co-workers.
